Let’s Use This Pandemic as a Reminder
"Let’s use this pandemic as a reminder, a reminder about what we should prioritize during the precious time we have on this earth. I feel mankind has lost sight of what achieves fulfillment in our lives."
This virus is many things, one of which should be a release. Use it as a means and new standard to judge stressful situations. Allow yourself life. Give yourself freedom. Do not get caught up in the everyday stressors that consistently and constantly take up valuable space on our mind. Live your life positively, the way it was meant to be lived. You deserve it.
Today is a brand new day; a day to heal, a day to love, a day to forgive, a day to encourage, a day to start afresh.” — Caroline Naoroji
Let’s leave life’s focus of societal competition in the past and advance towards a focus on love, happiness, and things we are truly passionate about.
“Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.” — Carl Bard
This life is short and is not to be taken for granted. As life has just proven to us, it can change very quickly with no warning, leaving some of us feeling lost. Luckily, this change is temporary, allowing us to come back from it with a altered mindset. A mindset where we prioritize the positives rather than the negatives, because what if one of these times the change is not temporary? Let’s change our standards of success, as there is no one form that can possibly fit all. Success is individualistic, which could be hidden by societal expectations. Let’s live this life in a way that makes each and every one of us feel fulfilled. Let’s live this life in a way that has us dreading day’s end and praying for day’s start. It is time to change our focus.
“If you want to be happy, you have to be happy on purpose. When you wake up, you can’t just wait to see what kind of day you’ll have. You have to decide what kind of day you’ll have.” — Joel Osteen
I understand that living perfect lives each and every day is simply not sustainable or realistic, but going through life with a positive mindset could be. All we need is the willingness to allow our successes to be individualized. Take the small wins and use them as guidance. Let them shed light on your path towards success. Happiness lies within you passion, so do not fear embarking on your path. When things don’t go as planned, rather than kicking ourselves, let’s feel sorry for ourselves. Rather than making excuses, make adjustments. Rather than dwelling on the past, focus on the future. Let’s come together and prioritize passion, love, happiness, and whatever else truly makes you feel fulfilled. There are few things in our lives that truly makes us feel alive. Let’s capture those things and live them day in and day out. Living a life of fulfillment is all we can ask for, and it is completely up to you to accomplish this.
“In the end these things matter most: How well did you love? How fully did you live? How deeply did you let go?” — Jack Kornfield
